power bi date differences

Hi,

how to achieve this in DAX  Date = IF('Table'[column1]="unknown","",today() - FORMAT('Table'[column1],"dd/mm/yyyy"))

if the output is greater than 30 then value to be true else false

@sheenajose , first of all clean up data in power query replace unknown with null. Change data type to date.

The you can do

if(isblank('Table'[column1]), blank() , datediff(today(),'Table'[column1],day))

You can not work with composite datatype easily in dax. Better to clean up.

Are you looking for a calculated column or a measure? And what is the datatype of column1? If it's text, then I'd suggest you change it to a proper date(time) column and replace "unknown" with BLANK. Data types in Power BI are strict. It's not Excel.
