Hi,

I have data as mentioned below table.

S.No	Month-year	Value
1	12-2019	3
2	11-2019	5
3	10-2019	2
4	01-2019	6
5	12-2018	7
6	11-2018	1

Requiremnt  is, if i select month (12-2019) here  i need to display previous month and selected month difference( selected month - previous month) .  can you please help me on this.

Column = 
'Table'[Value] - MAXX(FILTER('Table', 'Table'[S.No]< EARLIER('Table'[S.No])), 'Table'[Value])

thank you for your response. but i dont have the date column. i have the month-year formate(mm-yyyy) and this is custome column as text format. please suggest me the approach.

Hi @SrinivasaRao5_ ,

You have the Index Number. Make sure are descending in nature from the earliest month in text format.

is it possible with out index number, reason is i need to display the value month wise  in  bar chart.

HI @SrinivasaRao5_ ,

You will need an index column to refer earlier dates.

Also since your date column is also text , this wil also not help.
