I have a measure that gives me a weighted average, in the same table is a date column but when i try to filter by it, it does not affect the rows shown by the measure (it still displays all rows).
Weighted average =
VAR __CATEGORY_VALUES = VALUES('Table'[Sample-ID])
RETURN
DIVIDE(
SUMX(
KEEPFILTERS(__CATEGORY_VALUES),
CALCULATE( SUM('Table'[Value]) * SUM('Table'[Amount]) )
),
SUMX(
KEEPFILTERS(__CATEGORY_VALUES),
CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Amount]))
)
)

Can you try the following modified version:
Weighted average =
VAR __CATEGORY_VALUES = VALUES('Table'[Sample-ID])
RETURN
DIVIDE(
SUMX(
KEEPFILTERS(__CATEGORY_VALUES),
'Table'[Value] * 'Table'[Amount]
),
SUMX(
KEEPFILTERS(__CATEGORY_VALUES),
'Table'[Amount]
)
)
