Toggle for Columns on a Line and clustered column chart

Hello,

I have the following data sets:

Task Details:

Task NameDateSystem
task 11/1/2021

system 1

task 22/1/2021system 2
task 33/1/2021system 1

System Dates:

SystemDescriptionDate
System 1Test 11/2/2021
System 1Test 21/3/2021
System 2Test 32/1/2021

I am looking for a way to display the count of tasks from Task Details as lines graphed over time and display the Date from the System Dates as a vertical bar for each occurance.  I would like to be able to filter on Task Name and toggle the System Dates on and off.

As you can see there is a many to many relationship between system from Task Details and System Dates.

Any thoughts?

@jschaefer , Create two common tables Date and System, Join them with both tables and used these common tables to analyze data together

For system

A new table, to joined with both table on system

Distinct(union(Distinct(Task[System]),Distinct(System[System])))

Bridge Table: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bkf35Roman8&list=PLPaNVDMhUXGaaqV92SBD5X2hk3TMNlHhb&index=19

For Date

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
