Swap SUM Total for AVG per month

I'm trying to create a measure for changing the SUM Total to an AVG over 12 months (1 year). I'd like to have the right table saying:

2019 IN = 93 / 12 = 7.75

1. Create a Date Table .

2. Create a measure

Total Trips = SUM(Box[Trips])

3. Create a measure 

Average Trips/month = AVERAGEX(VALUES(Dates[MonthnYear]), [Total Trips])
