I've got the following data which details absences for individuals.
I need to summarise this data so I get the instances of absence. In this case it would be 7, the the highlighted rows summarizing to 2 seperate instances of 7 and 11 days.
A new summary table would be fine, if it can't be carried out in a DAX measure
Hi @a_guest1005 ,
If you mean you want to divide the table into three tables, I'm not very clear what's the logic of segmentation. If the first and second parts are different because of the year, then what is the logic of the distinction between the second and third parts. Please explain it more.
Best Regards,
Kaly
I don't get that... The highlighted rows should be collapsed into just one: absence from 3/2/2022 thru to 28/2/2022. Why are you separating the one continuous period into two?
Your right, I highlighted the wrong two rows. the bottom 5 should be one instance and the two above that another instance, then the top three rows, all seperate
