Sum of top 3 with multiple table

Hi All,

I have one fact(sales) and 2 dimension tables(country & format). Both dimension tables are connected to fact with one to many relatioship,  i have coulmn "weight" in sales table, country name in Country table & Format column in Format table.

Now i want to do the sum of weight, by country and format. i know i can do this in basic filter option and get the sum but i realy wanted to know the DAX for this. it is basically grouping by country column and format column from both dimension tables and get the sum of weight from sales table aginst those grouped rows.

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Vinay

First of all, in your initial post there is no mention of TOP3 at all.

Second of all, it's completely unclear what it means "I want to get the sum of weight only for top 3 by country and by format."

If you give such hard to understand conditions, then please do not be surprised you don't get any answers.

I'd strongly suggest you read this first if you have not yet:

It'll help you in the long run (short as well).
