Split result of slicesr into two matrices.

Hello,

I have two slicers that filtered down a list of report names into a matrix. A second matrix has been added, and the filtered report names need to be split so that one half is in matrix one, and one half in matrix two.  The issue in the image below is that the split is not even. Currently, I have a calculated column added divides all of the report names by assigning either a '1' or '2'. The issue here is that '1s' can outnumber '2s' after the slicers are used.

I don't think the correct solution is to split the underlying data(or assign 1s and 2s) but instead to have the result of the two slicers split. I think this would be done with a calculated measure, but am unsure. Would you agree?

Are you proposing something like this.

Dax measure one.

reads the values of the 2 slicers into variables

uses the variables to filter the records you want to see

counts the number of records

divides the count in half and displays the first half of the records.

Dax measure two.

does the same but displays the second half
the measure one becomes the source of one visual

measure two becomes the source of the other

?
