I am trying to do a basic lookup in DAX from the Parent SEQ Column to the ASM SEQ and return the ASM SEQ RANK (See picture below). I know that lookups can be handled in other programs easily like PQ but for my purpose it has to be in DAX as I am trying to create a ragged hierarchy which I can refresh in Excel format (I need hide members feature for pivot table). I imagine it is some variation of the lookupvalue function but I cannot get it to work.

Thanks. I should have been able to figure that out. I am new to DAX and Its hard to learn it when you have been using Power Query forever.
