Dear PBI Community,
I am trying to calculate avg. events per week.
Date | Event | Count |
03/12/2019 | Dirty Lens | 1 |
23/12/2019 | Out of Focus | 1 |
The table consists of more dates in the month and more events.
I am trying to see what the average of 'events' per week is over a month.
Total Dirty lens events per week e.g. Total of lets say 10 Dirty lens events divided by the total number of weeks in that month will give me the weekly average.
Let me know if you are able to assist.
Regards

I get what you are saying, let me try again:)
So what if you could calculate the number of days in a month and divide it by 7? For example in a month like March with 31 days total, so there will be a total of 4.43 weeks (31/7=4.43). Suppose this would be a calculation of its own?
Once you have the number of weeks, you can divide the number of weeks figure (for example 4.43) into the total of individual events (for example 20 lens dirty events and 30 out of focus events)per month to the weekly average?
Event | Total of events per month | Number of weeks ./ month | Answer |
Lens Dirty | 20 | 4.43 | 4.51 |
Out of focus | 30 | 4.43 | 6.77 |
Let me know if the above gives a better explenation.
Best Regards
