Number Format Changes from M to Mio

In my sales report depending on the table I either use "M" or "K" format (I use field formatting to set it for each table). When I upload the report to share it the format automatically changes to the German format "Mio." and "Tsd." but this is too long and makes my report less readable. How can I prevent that the format changes? I know that it is possible to change the format in the measure, but this does not look like an ideal solution as I use different formats in different tables and then I would need to create a lot of extra measures in this complex report.

Hi  @TimmK ,

The web version will display the numbers in the format that is reported from the users' browser. If you don't want that you can format all your numbers as text instead (with the appropriate format string)

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/format-function-dax

OR

In the power bi service, select language as default browser language.

Search your browser settings for language, choose the language as same as your Power BI Desktop used.

Then relaunch the browser and checked whether the reports will show date format as expected.

@TimmK I recommend that you change the data format in Power Query, as a new step. Once done, try reloading the data, it should keep the change applied.
