Next year function slice through month

Hi,

I am comparing "total sales" with Next year using Next year dax functoin as yellow highlighted table, but when I filter it through month slicer Total sales changes but next year sales remain same.

my requirement is that slicer should slice both measures

Thanks you

@haider378 , next year always gives a complete year.

use measure like

Year ahead Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],1,Year))

Next YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],1,Year),"12/31"))

Next  year MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],12,MONTH)))

With a date table

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
