I have had a datetime stamp on my dashboard for months.
Yesterday evening, we had a server to storage path fail and this morning the NOW() function no longer returns hours minutes and seconds, just the date. NO idea if this is something at the PowerBI end or to do with the fail last night.
I was able to fix this by changing my extremely simple script from
Date Time=NOW()
to
Date Time=NOW()+0
Is this intended or a bug?

@Greg_Deckler Thank you for testing. I have had someone here test their desktop version as well and they could not replicate the issue either. I assume this is a file corruption and, rather than going with my work around, I decided to go back to an older version where the Now() function works as expected. I have had two instances of spurious file corruption in the last two months, and am wondering whether PowerBI is more sensitive than other Microsoft products to exiting non-gracefully. I will continue to keep backups and ensure that, from now, on I exit gracefully at the end of each working day.
@Esabee Is this in the Desktop or the Service or both? Is this a measure or a column in the data model?
@Greg_Deckler Apologies for not inluding this information. It is in Desktop and it is a measure.
@Esabee Interesting, I can't replicate the behavior on my Desktop. You could check the Issues forum here:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
And if it is not there, then you could post it.
