Implicit measures

Hello everyone

Am trying to see how many customers bought certain product ,which is cueso calabres, so i added customername, order id ,etc

and finally i filtered my visual to cueso calabres

why when i put count of customer name, its giving 91 & not 38 as with count of orderids, why they are not matching

i have a filter for only certain product, so both values should match , what i am missing here?

Hi @chahineatallah

A piece of good advice:

Please for your own good and sanity, refrain from using implicit measures. Always, ALWAYS, create explicit ones.

You'll thank me later 🙂 No problem.

hi

Yes i totally agree, am just trying to work it without dax, just by drag & drop, can you tell me what is the problem? why am not getting proper results at the total level, when my table is filtered to only one product

I don't think anyone can answer your question without actually seeing your data and digging into it.

i figured it out, its relation problem , i changed it to both (bad practise i know but sometimes it helps)
