Hello I am Trying to make a report that will show employees in different business areas with the amount of Time they have been absent. I have a table that looks like this.
Empl./Appl.Name | Date | Number | Org. Unit | Business Area |
Alan | 12/21/2020 | 8 | 50541520 | Training |
Alan | 12/22/2020 | 8 | 50541520 | Training |
Alan | 12/23/2020 | 8 | 50541520 | Training |
Francis | 7/12/2021 | 0.23 | 50644332 | IT |
Francis | 10/13/2021 | 8 | 50644332 | IT |
Jenn | 2/19/2021 | 8 | 10013520 | HR |
Jenn | 4/19/2021 | 4.7 | 10013520 | HR |
Jenn | 7/20/2021 | 8 | 50716112 | Quality |
I would like to Filter on Business Area, but on my report I still need to see the total time for an employee; regardless of Business Area. For Example; If I filter for Quality, I would like to See Jenn as an employee with total time absent = 20.7 // instead of Jenn's time showing only 8. (And I would Also see Jenn when I filter on HR also showing total absent time of 20.7).

Thanks for the help!
Hi @Anonymous ,
Try this measure:
Total =
IF(
ISBLANK( SELECTEDVALUE( 'Table'[Empl./Appl.Name] ) ),
"Please select",
CALCULATE(
SUM( 'Table'[Number] ),
ALLEXCEPT( 'Table', 'Table'[Empl./Appl.Name] )
)
)
Result
I put my pbix file in the end you can refer.
Best Regards
