Hi,
I'm wondering would it be possible to make role filter like this as we would need to have different visibility depending on report the user is viewing. I know it would be possible to achieve this by having two separate models or with alias table for filtering but we don't want to end up with a maintenance nightmare as we have a lot of security rules in our model.
So my question is, would it be possible to make a role filter based on report name/id or some hidden slicer page on the report? Like if the report name is report1 use filter1, if the report name is report2 use filter2.
Thank you.

Roles are tied to datasets, not reports.
I'm aware that they are tied to datasets, but what I'm asking for is if it would be possible to identify the report in dataset level and filter the data based on that? I have done this on another reporting platform and it made me wonder would it be possible to do this in PowerBI as well.
Sounds like security by obscurity to me. I would stay away from this.
