I have a matrix with a row hierarchy comprising Name, Year and Month. Year is filtered to 2019.
I also have an area chart plotting the values from the matrix.
When selecting a Name from the matrix, is it possible to make my area chart show values for all years rather than the matrix filter of 2019?
You could use ALLEXCEPT in your measure and remove the Year filter. Please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
Thanks @Anonymous, however that would stop the Name filter to my area chart also.
Basically I want the area chart to ignore the 2019 filter that is set on the matrix but whilst also filtering on Name.
