So i have a data table with different project submitting weekly status report. I want to count number of ongoing active projects (which is anything other than not-started, and completed) and display this measure on a card. In order to do this I want to count number of distinct project that does not have a status of "not started" and "completed"
Is there any way I can count distinct projects that contains only the variable of on-track, at risk <1 week behind and, serious risk >1 week behind?
Hey @Anonymous ,
yes, that's possible. Check the following measure:
Projects Submitted =
CALCULATE(
DISTINCTCOUNT( myTable[Projects] ),
myTable[Status]
IN {
"On-Track",
"at risk <1 Week behind",
"serious risk >1 week behind"
}
)
I didn't see a project id column, so I just did the DISTINCTCOUNT on the project name. I personally find it always a little dangerous to count on text. When 2 projects have the same name you will get wrong results. So I would prefer to count on unique Project IDs.
I am not getting the right answer. Is it possible to just get a distinct count of the project that does not have not started or complete instead?
