have two columns (Hire Date and Current Date)
I have to find date difference between the two columns using the formula :
(Current Date - Hire Date)/12 = Tenure (new column)
Example :
Current Date
10/23/2019
Hire Date
10/23/2018
Tenure
1.0
Using a calculated Columm you can simply use
Days = Current Date - Hire Date
Then goes to modeling and change from date to number, the result will be the respective number of days between the two dates.
If you want to show the result in months just use:
Months = (Current Date - Hire Date)/12
