Date Table is Not Being Recognized

Your input is appreciated.

My DIM_DATE table is set as my date table with the following relationship:

Heather_W_876_0-1627414194495.png

all of my date fields are formatted as M/D/YYYY

My issue is that when I try to use the DIM_DATE table in my DAX formulas, it is not being recognized:

Heather_W_876_1-1627414304222.png

MTD = TOTALMTD(sum(Report_W_Period[Amount]),DIM_Date[Date])
MTD PY = CALCULATE(TOTALMTD(sum(Report_W_Period[Amount]),DIM_Date[Date]),SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(DIM_Date[Date]))

Any assistance is appreciated.
Rae

Hi @Heather_W_876 ...silly question: did you mark it as a date table?  Right click on the table and make sure "mark as date table" is checked

I did verify it is marked as a date table.

Hi @Heather_W_876 can you provide a sample pbix to play with?
