Hello folks,
To connect an parameterpage, I´ve made an relationship between a parameterpage. On the parameterpage, there´s is the basic stuff like brand, edition, colour, amount of boxes on pallet, identificationkey. On the other page (daily production), I´ve got real-time data. I´ve connected the twpo pages by identification key. This is shown in text. For example:
On Nov 1, 2021, the daily based production is as follows:
Identification key | Amount |
BMW.X5.V2 | 800 |
BMW.X6.V8 | 240 |
Mercedes.X3.V2 | 310 |
Audi.A5.V8 | 125 |
Porsche.992.V6 | 35 |
Most of the identification keys (for example Audi.A3.V2) have no values, because they simply have no values for that specific day. I use the data from the parameter sheet for the identification key. The values of the numbers are coming from the sheet of the daily production.
Now the problem: I get different numbers if I use the relationship between the two datatables. When I only use teh Daily production, I´ve got for example an amount of 45 Porsche.992.V6. When I turn on the relationship between the two tables, I´ve got an amount of 35 Porsche.992.V6. I´m curious who could help me!
Cheers!
There is no much information available but I would check two things: the relationship one to multi that the one is on the table with your unique identifier. Second you can get funny numbers and answer if your identification key is from the daily production table
@Pbra Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882
Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
