Hi everyone!
I have a question, I have following table with ID and Date. I need to identify the percentage respect to previous period, for example:
I wish to have a dashboard where I am selecting the "date" of the table and it gives me the percentage of IDs that were in the previous period but not in the consulted one. I have tried creating new tables but without good results. Do you recommend any more efficient way?
Thank very much for the help
Karlo
Hey @karlo ,
first create a dedicated calendar table, this table is essential for data modeling in Power BI.
Create a measure that uses the function DISTINCTCOUNT, and create a measure that uses one of the time intelligence functions.
This article explains almost everything about time/date related calculations: https://www.daxpatterns.com/time-patterns/
Hopefully this provides some ideas to tackle your requirements.

Tom
