Currency Conversion 1:n

Hi there,

I currently deal with a sales table where all amounts are defined in EUR.

Because I nedd same report should be used by US guys, what is the best practise in Power BI ?

In some other reporting tools I used to put a kind of prompt, in order to dynamically convert the values in the selected destination currency.

Because I cannot use prompt in Power BI, which solution is the best approach ?

My power bi report is build top of a tabular model on Analysis Service.

Thanks in advance,

Duilio

Hi darlove,

thanks a lot.

I followed your suggestions and it works well in Power BI.

But why if I get the same DAX rule back in my tabular analysis service model and I use it again in power bi it seems stuck ?

So even I change the currency code from a slicer nothing appening.

It seems that the DAX formula when implemented in ssas is not able to intercept the run time currency code selection....

what do you think about that ?

thanks in advance,

DP

Really sorry but I can't think anything at this moment because I don't quite understand what you are saying. I'd need to see the problem with my own eyes to be able to tell you what's possibly wrong.
