Create a Slicer with User's Names & Org Structure

l have one table with that maps leaders and their direct reports. This includes LeaderID, ManagerID, and UserID. One LeaderID will have one or more ManagerID since a Leader will have one or more managers reporting to them, and one ManagerID can have one or more UserID since a manager has several direct reports. So we have a reporting structure where a Leader has Managers and a Manager has direct reports. ALL IDs are linked to a UserID.

I have another table with Users that includes UserID and FullName.

What's the best way to use a slicer(s) so the following is possible using ONE report but with different slicer views:

  • A Leader can log in and see their overall organization report AND they can view the report of any Manager that reports to them
  • A Manager can log in and see their report of the people that report directly to them
  • And the slicer should of course show the Person's FullName.

Thank you!
