I have two spreadsheeting I imported into data. In the model I joined the two datasources on a column (sku). I need to count the values in column (click-throughs) in table 'Clicks' and group it by 'brandName' and in Product table to product a measure that includes the brandName and the total clicks (based on skus in that family)
Assume you have brand/product table linked to the click table on sku. Measure=sum([clicks])
Created pivot table with
Brand and product as the label columns and measure as the value column.
Hey @wkolcz
Sorry for the late reply.
It would be great if you could send me a sample file with a detailed explanation of what output you want, so that, I can try to help you out.
Thanks,
Udit
Thank you. How do I group by a column on table 2 (Product) when I join the sku across them and count the click-throughs from table 1 (Clicks)?
Hey @wkolcz
You can group values in two ways, i.e.,
1. Power Query: By using the 'Group By' functionality
2. DAX: Creating a virtual table by using the SUMMARIZE() function
