Concatenation Help

Hi

I need to concatenate a measure and a column

Example for Volume I have quantity

To find total volume I do sum(quantity), but the unit of measurement is in different column which is a string.

How do I combine both the values

Say 100 KG --> 100 comes from sum(quantity) and KG is present in different column.

Thanks

Hi Greg,

Really thanks for the prompt reply.

However I donot want a column, all I want is simple.

I have two colums, one quantity (numeric) and one UOM (text)

I want summation over quantity say sum(quantity) which gives me 100, now I need to put this value in chart and show the result as 100 KG...this KG comes from UOM column which is a string.

I would be obliged to connect with you, I work from India and support US hours. Let me know a way to connect to you.

[Volume] & " " & SELECTEDVALUE( T[ColumnWithUnit] )

But if this works... it means the design is flawed 🙂
