Calculating sum of net sales for distinct column

Hi guys, I am having trouble caclulating the total sales amount filtered by a distinct column  DPBASE (a discount type reference.) My sales table and discount table are connected in a many to many relationship but would if make sense then to create a 1 to many relationship by creating a new table with only the distinct DPBASE's and filtering from there?  As you can see my sales figures do not add up I am just looking for some clarity.  Kind Regards

sumx(values(Table[DPBase]),[Total Sales])

@cdawidow - This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here:
