Calculate with PreviousMonth formula not working

Good afternoon,

I am trying to conduct a previousmonth formula with calculate. It seems to work when I reference a column from a table, however, when I reference a calculated measure that I have created in Power BI, I receive blanks in the output.  Please see below:

The DAX code I used to obtain Prior Month Actual is:

Prior Month IFIS Actual YTD = CALCULATE('(f) IFIS Actuals'[IFIS Actual YTD], PREVIOUSMONTH('(d) Date'[Date]))

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

- Sam

Feel free to email me with any of your BI needs.

Thank you for the feedback! I have made some minor edits to make the language easier to understand. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a spreadsheet or dashboard.
