Bookmarks Will Not Reset Slicers After "Select All"

Does anyone know if the issue has been corrected with bookmarks and select all? I have a selection slicer with select all functionality and the bookmark used to reset the filter works fine when selecting single or multiple selections. But fails when the select all option is used. 

There was a post back in 2018 stating, "that this was a known issue, somewhat by design. "Select All" and "none" are the same thing internally, no filter is generated. We don't differentiate between these two states". 

Any input/help would be appreciated.

@m_wex , As far as I know, select all and select none is the same, as of now.
