Small Multiples for main visuals e.g. line/bar/column charts

It would be great to be able to create small multiple without the need to use r.

Create lots of charts with a consisent axies is very tricky, have the abilty to wrap or grid and a facet for the small multiples just as r does would provide more flexibility and improved clarity on some chart types.

Hello @stretcharm

Are you talking about Power BI native visuals (line, bar, column)?

If so, please create the same topic at Ideas.

Hi there - I had a need for this recently and ended up writing my own version of a small multiple line chart - it's been approved in AppSource and is available in the marketplace, if you want to give that a try...

@dm-p

Is there a way to make the scales different for each "Small Multiples"?

Hi there and thanks for your interest in the visual. The design principle was to observe the typical use case for a small multiple chart, which enforces the same scale and axes. It would not be possible in its current state and would require a fair bit of effort to make it work that way.

You're welcome to raise an issue in the project for your request and I'll add it to the roadmap if there's enough interest from other users. Alternatively, the visual is open source so you are welcome to submit a pull request if you want to help extend it in such a way.
