A Timeline slicer that is not massive

Hi,

This is a simple idea that reflects most of the review feedback for the otherwise excellent timeline slicer.

*Please can we have a version of this visual that is not massive?*

Its a great slicer - but its like putting duplo with Lego - it looks ridiculous in the context of a report with almost any other tiles on it.

Please can we have one that scales well to a "normal" size and ideally works with sync slicers/seledctmoin pane bookmarks.

Many Thanks,

Russ

Hi Russ,

Bookmarks support is coming to Timeline Slicer soon (code was checked in).

Sync Slicers feature is in our backlog along with the ability to reduce size of Timeline Slicer.

hi,  is tere any more feedback on reducing the size/making this responsive?

If you look at the review on appstore they pretty much all say its too big to be usable.

Hi @robrien6,

We'll consider reducing size to make it more usable.

Yes, this visual is great, but not easy to fit when you have a large number of date points to show. Will be great if it can automatically scaled down to fit a much smaller real estate of the page.

@eyoskan Thanks for feedback.

This feature is on our backlog. We'll implement it soon.

I completely agree with this.  The timeline slicer in excel is much more usable that this one.

It would be a really nice update to be able to resize the timeline slicer.

Please consider this.

The timeline slicer is a beautiful slicer that is very difficult to incorporate in a report due to its massive size. Is there a timeline when the 'reduced size' might be released?
