image by cloudscope - clean cache

Regarding the "Image by Cloudscope" custom visual.

How can I clean its cache?

If I alter an image, PBI desktop does not understand the update. Sometimes that takes hours or even days.

Also similar behaviour if you upload to the service/web url.

The option in PBI desktop > File > Options and settings > Options > Data Load > Clear cache, does not work.

To clear cache of Power BI Desktop you should remove everything from these directories:

  • C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop
  • C:\Users\%username%\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop Store App
  • C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop SSRS
