Hierarchy Slicer rendering errors

Realized today that the hierarchy slicer does not render as expected anymore on PowerBI.com. The checkboxes are now showing above the text of the respective label and not just left to it:

As it renders correctly in Power BI Desktop I guess it has to do with a recent update of the service. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Any advice or workaround?

Cheers

Re: Hierarchy Slicer rendering errors

We faced a few issues with CDN cache. Some users might still get the broken version.

Are you still facing the same issue?

Re: Hierarchy Slicer rendering errors

Hierarchy Slicer is going to be deployed today. Please expect a fixed version in a few hours.

Clear browser cache before testing.

Thxs Ignat, but the version deployed on Friday did not fix the issue. Any other thoughts from your side?

Re: Hierarchy Slicer rendering errors

CDN cache issue has been resolved. All users are supposed to get the latest version now.

Let us know if you are still facing the issue even after clearing browser cache. To clear Power BI Desktop cache please remove everything at these directories:

  • C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop

  • C:\Users\%username%\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop Store App

  • C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop SSRS

Re: Hierarchy Slicer rendering errors

This is happening in the PBI service, we are still facing it.  Browser cache was deleted. I didn't delete my desktop stuff...though because that should not affect the PBI service.  We haven't touched our reports in a long time.  Sent email on this same topic as well to the custom visuals support email.

Re: Hierarchy Slicer rendering errors

Please clear browser cache again and check if this issue still exists.

Yesterday was a deployment that updated CDN cache.
