Measure affected by slicer

Hi, 

I want to compare previos data to current data on a line graph. However, I also need to add a "year" slicer for the other objects. But with the presence of slicer, i need to select two consecutive years in the slicer to be able to show the last year numbers. on the other hand, i just want to show the current data on the other objects.

i think you can do this, with this DAX calculation

PREV Year =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( 'Table'[Value] ),
    DATEADD ( 'Table'[Date].[Date], -1, YEAR )
)
