Dynamically change datasource to published dashboard

I am embedding power bi reports into web application for non ppower bi users. I would like to know is it possible to change the data source connection of power bi report/dashboards at runtime by passing it as parameter from web application.

Hi,

there is an api to set the connection of a dataset for SQL Direct Query mode,

see: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt748181.aspx

if you have multiple customers with different datasources you should upload a report per customer / datasource and set it's connection.

Thanks Mahir for your resonse. We can replicate the reports for each customer /datasource , as its a manual process, we wanted to know either this is possible by passing parameters from web aplication for the embedded power bi report.
