Using Power Query ETL, here's a method I implemented for transforming multiple columns in a single step based on another column. In my most recent Power BI project on Financial Reporting, I had to deal with this challenge. In Power Query, using just the GUI may take more steps and take longer to achieve the desired result. The results can be obtained quickly and efficiently by applying a bit of "M" coding.
