Breakdown Trees

The Breakdown tree makes it possible to visually display the full drill-down path of a measure. By keeping all levels in the drill-down path visible you will get a good overview of how your numbers break down, from the top level to the details at the bottom.

I really like this one. This has a very practical use by showing the relationship of numbers and hierarchies. I also like how it is tied to the other charts. Definitely a winner for my kind of work.

Unique, engaging and thought provoking. Made me immediately start thinking of different applications as opposed to just being one of the expected future visuals, fantastic work!

dear colleagues, how do you test that wonderful thing? i tried to paste this code  directly to dev ( tools online console but it failed. What did i missed? It seems like some sort of preparation is miising.

It seems that something has changed in the online dev editor, making some of the visuals not work right now online even though they compile fine and work in Visual Studio.

Hey Fredrik, would it be possible to update your code to not use IInterativeVisual & the interactivity service? That interface and API are internal. Instead you should use the SelectionManager class to avoid any backward compatibility issues. The way selection mananger works is very similar to the interactivilty service, where you give it the selection ID you are trying to select/drill. Refer to the AsterPlot visual under samples on how to use it. Let me know if you have any questions.
