Hello everyone,
how to preselect the period on a date filter?
I would like the date to be the 1st of the month by default until the day of execution.
but the user can still extend the selected date.
somone can help me please.

You can use the relative date slicer or filter to apply time-based filters to any date column in your data model.
For how to create it ,you may follow the steps below:
1.Create a Slicer visual for your report and then select a date value for the Field value.
2.Select the slicer, and in the Format pane, under Visual > Slicer settings > Options, change the Style to Relative Date.
You can then select the settings in the date slicers.
For the first setting, you have the following choices: Last, Next, This.
In the second (middle) setting in the relative date slicer, you enter a number to define the relative date range.
In the third setting, you pick the date measurement. You have the following choices: Days, Weeks, Weeks (Calendar), Months, Months (Calendar), Years, Years (Calendar).

I know this alternative but it does not allow you to select personalized periods.
I only want to pre-select by default between the 1st of the month and today's date. and give the user the possibility to choose a personalized period
