Hello All,
I got requirement to copy reports from one workspace to another workspace using Power BI Rest APIs.
Several methods to get the response from Power BI api have been tested from Power Shell cmdlets. Able to copy the reports in default user workspace. The request is failing when I copy the report to a different workspace. Need help in confirming if the rest POST APIs provided by Microsoft to clone a report is valid.
Please post views about it.
Thanks,
Sandhya

Hi @Sandhyarani958,
For duplicate workspace and its contents, you can refer to following blog to know more about this: (based on rest api and powershell script)

I used this script that was mentioned in the solution, however, it seems to not work on V1 workspaces to V2 workspaces. When I copy from one V2 workspace to another, it works fine. However, when I pick a workspace that's v1 to a new v2, it doesn't work and says I don't have edit rights, even though I am admin on all our workspaces. Does this only work now on V2 workspaces? I was hoping to use this for copying over so I can go from v1 to v2.
@u02cm62 did u get solution? also when u say v1 to v2...u mean classic(old) workspace to new worspace?
i tried the same,,it nly copies from new workspace to old but not vice versa,,,,
