Show all column values in matrix table when there is no row in dataset

Hi,

Is it possible to show a column in a matrix table when there is no row in the dataset. E.g in Excel you can create a manual table as below and when data exists it populates according. So if the dataset has no row for 100 Days + this should show as 0. But in Power BI the columns only show if there is data. So the tables are all different sizes.

What i want to show is the below but i am only getting 3 columns in power bi (0-1 days, 2-7 days and 8-14 days) and not the whole groups

 Any help is appreciated!

TIA

Hi all,

I managed to sort this. I created a new table with the groups and joined this to my main table.

I had a value where it was showing the value as a percent of grand total but this wasnt working with the show no data option, so i changed this to percent row total.

Hi all,

So this problem has been solved, right?

In addition, what do you mean by "percent row total"? What's the difference between it and "percent of grand total"? I'm curious about this. Thanks.

@yaman123 , Add +0 to you measure or use option Show item with no data on Days bucket

Hi @amitchandak

The 'show items with no data' does not work and still only shows the 3 columns. I am using SQL to build my query then importing into Power BI

Hi @yaman123

You could replace the blank values with 0 in these columns in Power Query Editor. Then these 0 values will display in your table visual.
