Hello,
As a 10 year Tableau user I am jumping into Power Bi for my new position and I have not fully grasped how to utilize DAX to achieve some of my desired results. My dilemma is I have a Start Date and an End Date, and I need to create monthly blocks based on specific dates within these columns. For example, I can have 4-5 Start Dates and End Dates for each month based on when the data is being updated, however I need to create a slicer that is based on dates that I have been given so they can choose a "block" and then the visualization filters/slices the data down to the desired block.
I'm new to the forum so please let me know if I need to include more information.
Thanks,
JW
