I don't know if this is a Power Automate question or a Power BI question.
For context I do have a requirement to place a button in a Power BI report and have the ability to refresh the Dataset ( I know PowerAutomate can do it )
The interesting part is.
This Dataset set is getting all the datasetIDs from a Power BI Rest API and eventually stored in table in the Datawarehouse.
The goal is to have the ability to refresh a specific report using the button. So if I want to refresh Dataset 1 out of the 10 Datasets I have I can do it smoothly by clicking a button and move to another Dataset I want.
Any idea on how I can execute this?
This is a power automate question as you will want to get those 10 IDs and hold them as an array, then refresh the one you want via power automate code when the button is pushed. Putting the button in a Power BI report is easy. figuring out which one in the array is a Power Automate deeper dive.
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
