Ranking by dates

I have a table below where i have 2 projects and 5 tasks. I want to rank each task inside a project based on start date. Earliest would be number 1 etc. How do i rank the tasks in a project context based on the dates?

Thanks for the help!

ProjectTask Start dateRank
111.1.20211
121.3.20213
131.2.20212
2115.3.20212
2210.3.20211

Hi, @CarlsBerg999

Please try the below calculated measure.

Ranking =
VAR currentproject =
MAX ( 'Table'[Project] )
RETURN
RANKX (
FILTER ( ALL ( 'Table' ), 'Table'[Project] = currentproject ),
CALCULATE ( MAX ( 'Table'[Start date] ) ),
,
ASC
)

@CarlsBerg999 , Create a new column like

rankx(filter(Table, [Project] = earlier([project])),[Start Date],,asc,dense)
