How to insert a URL of Excel which is not on one drive or sharepoint

Hello,
I want to insert excel link in power bi report , but the excel file is not on sharepoint or one drive, it is there on our server which doesnot have httpps Url it is just showing the path of file and after inserting the path the excel file is not opening
So please help for above problem to insert the link

Hey @hb0135 ,

I assume it will not be possible, because you can not call external programs from inside a Power Bi report. The only exception are web urls and image urls.
Doing this requires you to change the data category of the column that holds the url accordingly.
