Dynamic dimension to Column chart drill mode

Hi guys

I have a coulumn chart with DRILL mode to drill down by dimension

I also wat to show only top10 values

The issue is that when I drill down, I still want to see the top10 values of the drilled to dimension

For example if the first level is customers and the second level is products

First I see the top10 Customers and when I drill into on of those Customers, I want to see his top10 products
When I filter on Top10 I get a message that only one top N filter can be applied, so I believe that the solution should be with some kind of a dynamic dimension

Any solutions?

Thanks

@shlomiwPBI
I believe you are referring to this error

if you want to implement topn at different levels of drill down then you can write a measure and use that measure as a filter in your visual. for ex:

I am attaching the file for your reference.

Thanks Tharun
It seems to wok fine with 2 levels in the hierarchy, can you send the example for 3 or more levels?
i need 4 levels in my hierarchy

Shlomi

Another issue is that in this solution the numbers that I see in the top level are not correct, it shows only the sum of the first top 3 values of the lower level and I don't what the numbers to change

Let's assume that Customer A has a total sales value of 1000 USD
Devided into 4 Products:
Prod 1 = 300 USD
Prod 2 = 300 USD
Prod 3 = 300 USD
Prod 4 = 100 USD
in this soultion I will only see total sales of 900 USD in the upper Customers level which is wrong 😞
The sames goes to the next lower levels I assume

Thanks

Shlomi

Hi @shlomiwPBI
If I understood you correctly, the issue is with top n according to the hierarchy level.
Please refer to the linked vide it should help.
