move Dashboard from one account to another

I had to open a new Power BI account as my old one was not complying with certain regulations. Is it possible to move an entire dashboard or even better workspace from one account to another? I don't have time to rebuild everything

Thanks

Hi @JH,

1) Do you have Pro license?

2) Your new and old accounts are in the same organization?

@JH,

You can create a Content Pack from an old account and share it with a new one.

1) Press cogwheel sign in old account

2) Go to Create content pack

3) Enter e-mail of your new account

4) Enter Title and Description (some free text) - it is a must have

5) Select Dashboards and reports to move

6) Then Press Publish

Hi

Thank you very much, it almost worked haha

It appears that my two account are not under the same organization after all

Is there a way to do it in this case?

@JH,

If you have different organization accounts, then you have only two options:

  1. Download PBIX file per each of report to your machine from the old account. Then publish it to the new account. A design will be fully saved, Dashboards need to be recreated.
  2. Build own migration tool using this sample, but do it from Service to Service.
