how to create online template in power bi ?

Hi ,

I wanted to know is it possible to create a template in the power bi online service so that people outside the organization can import the template as a content pack and edit the credentials and the report should update based on the user.

Note: This for outlook email extraction, we need a solution similar to the JIRA template (or content pack).Please find the below link for JIRA template

For your requirement, you can create template content packs which is the same as the service content pack (eg: JIRA content pack) in Power BI service. After submit the template content pack to Power BI, each user connects to it need to enter their own credentials. See: Content Pack Certification Program Overview.

You can create your own content pack and you can create a Desktop template file. To create a content pack, go to the Service, click the gear icon and choose "Create content pack". To create a template, in the Desktop choose File | Save As and in the file type choose a Power BI Template file.

Thank you for the quick response.

I know how to create a content pack in power bi online and also i know how to create desktop template.

But in power bi online content pack i have an issue ,when we share the content pack with some one in the organization he is not able to edit the credentials( we are connecting to outlook mail(exchange))

So i want to create the template in online similar to JIRA template that can be shared outside the organization and we can edit the credentials. Please find the below link for JIRA online template similar kind i want to replicate
