how to automatically refresh the dashboard without gateway in power bi

Hi All

Is there are anyway to automatic refresh in power bi without gateway. Actually I want to say If My computer is in switch off mode and I have scheduled my refresh at night 11 PM then it has to be run and change the dashboard.

As long as you can pull the data into Power BI, yes then it should be possible.

If your data is stroed on the cloud you will then not need the Gateway to refresh the data.

But if your data is stored on premise then you would need either the On-Premise Gateway or the Personal Gateway.

I am using Azure sql database . If I am using Azure sql database then there is no need of gateway am correct?

Yes no need to connect gateway's.

Even we are also using AZURE SQL Servers with out Gateway our projects are working fine.

I have a SQL warehous eon the cloud but its still asking meto use a gateway for it 

Is Azure warehouses the only ones supported?

Yes you still need to provide the details of the azure server as well as log in details so that it can be used as part of the refresh.
