different chart renderings in PBI service and PBI desktop

Hi everyone,

I just noticed that my bullet point chart looks different in Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop.

In the desktop version blank fields are truly blank:

chartPBIdesktop.PNG

In the service the same fields are marked as (Blank). It doesn't look so nice:

chartPBIservice.PNG

It is the same pbix file, but rendered differently. Is there anything I can do about it? Or is it simply a bug I have to live with?

Best Regards,

Ulrich

Well, you don't have to just live with it, post it as an Issue here:

https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/360879-issues

That being said, if that is a custom visual, you'll have to probably contact the owner of the custom visual to get it fixed.

Thanks for your reply.

I posted the issue here:

It is not a custom visual. It is a normal table with text data (the ● was added in the query editor, but the same problem cures with any other content in text or number format).
