Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid

Hello, I'm trying to setup a scheduled refresh in Service but I get this error message.

Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid. Please update your credentials and try again.

Our data source is a SQL Server hosted in Azure. Refreshing seems to be working fine in PBI Desktop. Ive also got the scheduled refresh up and running at the test environment (which is similar setup)

Hi @Anonymous

While setting up the schedule refresh, you need to provide server name, Database name, and then choose Basic Authentication. Enter the Username and Password of your Azure Database and click Sign in. Hope this will help.

Thanks,

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I think there is something fishy going on at the database side., checking with the developer if we have permissions to do this.
